We, the The Dark Mages Mod Team, proudly release the PreBeta version of our mod Tenebris. This is a very special release and it won't repeat. We decided to release the mod in a pre-final stage with every bonus, world and everything it consists, because it may take years to finish. Now parts are done, parts not. The mod is good playable and I believe you will have lot of fun.

Main features:
- 5 completely new and large worlds (Aeter, Thanatos, Infernum, Thanatos: The Borders, Resulah).
- Tens of hours to play.
- Complete darkness in caves and night (without light you see nothing).
- Saving is not allowed but on special locations (if you find such location you're given exps).
- Marvin is not allowed to use.
- You need regularly to eat and drink to stay alive.
- Partly dubbed.
- 5 difficulty levels, from very hard to almost nightmare.
- 4 worlds are in English, 1 world is in Czech, dubbing included.

Other features:
- Dragon flight.
- Shield.
- Bloody spots on screen.
- New animals, textures, objects.
- Videos.
- Audiobooks.
- Fight with torches.
And a lot of more.

- We won't provide any download links. We decided to give the possibility of play only to people who deserve it. I would call it a treasure hunt. On several dark places, in old castles, ruins, gloomy caves or deserted mines we hid three clues and the treasure. Every clue points to the next clue. You need all three to be able to decipher the path to the treasure. I advise you to be very careful if you look for the treasure. It's everything but easy and it's not for everybody. If you go for a clue or the treasure, let us know. If you find a clue or the treasure, I would be glad, if you just photo-copy the clue and put it back, or copy DVD and put it back too. So everybody who's looking has the chance to find it.
- What is the treasure? It's the DVD, where's the following: the playable Tenebris mod in PreBeta stage, the screens from development stage, the screens of Tenebris II (you will be really surprised of what you'll see) and some other secret things.
- If you have found the treasure you're not allowed to share it with anybody. Once in the future, hopefully, we will provide official release of full version of our mod, then per real download. But it may take years or it may not be at all.
- First clue: In old battlements of Pressburg in Bratislava there's a small former armory in a low tower close to Donau and the St. Martin cathedral, now an empty room with a bookcase, covered in cobwebs and dust. Behind it in the wall in a small fissure you will find the first clue. The easiest of all.

Hello, i am reading and using your forums for years , yet i never created account until now. The main reason is that i want to play your mod so badly, yet i understand your policy about giving your mod to people who deserve, but i think everyone deserves this masterpiece.

I would like you to provide us with download link so we could enjoy the mod you created. Thanks in advance and my Innos lightin you path !

I'm curious, did someone solve your puzzle? Or should I say did someone who's not from Slovakia solved the puzzle?

Nope. It's actually almost impossible to solve our puzzle because some locations of our hints were closed by higher power. The best way to get to our mods is to join us and cooperate. :)

Well the next part is you must tell us what you can do for our mods. Did you ever participate in modding? Do you have some skills? Do you work with Blender or 3DS Max? There is plenty of options how you can participate.

Unfortunately I don't have any modding skills(I'm a mechanic engineer not so much in commune with computer programs), the only thing I did was beta test some mods like Content Mod for Gothic 3 and for Gothic 2 The Golden Gate and Requiem.
If you want me to do the same thing for your mod is great if no I will wait for it when is done...
