Do you think people will be able to travel through time one day?

You're both wrong. I formulated the question a bit wrongly. Of course time travel is possible. You can travel to the future very easily thank to time dilation by high velocities. The real question, of course, is: Is possible the time travel to the past?

I don't think that past travel is possible. Future. Well, light speed ... I've heard something about that.

One of the biggest scientists of the world, Steven Hawking, made the following test. He set up a meeting, called nobody, but when it was over, he sent out the invitings. He wanted to know if someone would come. Nobody came. But, of course, it is not a proof.:)

I think they will be able to travel trought time... Someday... And if they don't then somebody else in the universe could.
But not to the past, that is in my opinion impossible. Travel forwards It's pretty possible and even it's physic fact! If you will travel faster than light than you even (if I say it in very simple way) travel trough time.

Now I just hope I wrote it right :D

No, by today's science you can not travel faster than light (but you may use some tricks). But the dilatation effect is present through all velocities, even small. It is just that if you are closing to the light speed the effect is much stronger. In fact, the time at the Earth's surface is a bit different than the time on the Earth's orbit. The difference is very small, almost indistinct, but high sensitive machines can measure it.
