Before life

What happened before you came to life, before your birth? Were you "alive"? Or you just came to life?

Not at all. Many people believe in reincarnation or other things.

Yes and such things are quite silly.

For some people it might be. For other it is a way of life. There are at least 1/6 of the world who believe in reincarnation. So to tell them being silly is very short-sighted.

And 5/6 of people don't believe so they are considerning not worthy believing in it = silly.

Before accusing me of bein g short-sighted, get your mind straight. Just beacuse many people believing something, it doesn't make it in any sense right or less silly. We don't measure if things are silly or not by how much or how many people believe in it, but by absurdity of the idea itself.
Thus we measure it by common sense. While I didn't say that people were stupid or anything, by common sense and scientific knowledge and critical thinking we actually can say that such idea is just silly and quite absurd.
Also remeber that probably around 1/5 of people in the world are illiterate, 4/5 of people are living in extremely poor conditions and a whole goddamn lot of them are horribly uneducated.

Really, just beacuse 1/6 of people believe in it doesn't make it any less absurd. Such argument is just plain wrong. It also double edged, because I could say that 5/6 of people don't believe in reincarnation and thus more people think it's silly. But that's not how conclusions should be made.

I didn't say the reincarnation exists, I didn't say it is good or bad. I just said to call 1/6 of the world to be silly-thinking is not good idea. Because they might feel touched and get angry and erase the rest of the world :). I'm bit exaggerating, but you surely understand.

The scientific look is a bit short-sighted. The science can understand only very few things in the world. Then you may think I believe in god or so, no, in fact I'm researcher and so I know. People live in their world, they believe in many things, and I respect it. I would never call them silly that they are wrong. Because tell me, how do you know that reincarnation is a silly thing? Have you a proof for it? So far it is just a claim. You can't prove it right or wrong now. So one day in the future it may be proved you were wrong. Or, you were right.
